These are the positions that are required for silked slaves of various levels in the city of Baren Touhk. Slaves of the given silk level are expected to perform these positions in the appropriate manner and at the appropriate times. Positions not required for a given silk level may be learned and practiced to demonstrate eagerness and service, but may not be required of slaves of that silk level.

Karta

Karta is the position slaves in Baren Touhk are expected to perform when begging entrance to a room.

Required Elements

• Thighs parted
• Chest to the floor
• Forehead to the floor
• Arms outstretched above head
• Palms to the floor

Important Notes

• Helpers and white silk slaves keep their thighs together rather than parted.

Nadu

Nadu is the most common slave kneeling position in Baren Touhk. "Nadu" comes from the Gorean word for "kneel" and it is also called the position of a pleasure slave.

Required Elements

• Thighs wide open
• Back and shoulders straight
• Chest out
• Belly in
• Head up
• Eyes averted, slightly downcast
• Hands on thighs
• Palms facing upward to indicate sexual receptiveness, facing downward otherwise

Tower

“	The position of the Tower Slave, in which Vika knelt, differs from that of a free woman only in the position of the wrists which are held before her and, when not occupied, crossed as though for binding.	”

Tower is generally the same as Nadu, except that the thighs are closed modestly together. Wrists are always crossed in the slave's lap when her hands are not occupied.

• Palms facing downward on thighs

Important Notes

• Helpers and white silk slaves always kneel in Tower.
• Always kneel in Tower when serving a Freeperson of the same gender.

Lesha / High Lesha

Lesha and High Lesha are used when the slave is about to be leashed.

Required Elements

• Kneel (or, for High Lesha, stand)
• Thighs parted
• Back facing the Master
• Head high and to the left
• Wrists crossed at the small of the back

• Helpers and white silk slaves keep their thighs together rather than parted.
